Update

So, I just realized that I haven't posted in a while. Needless to say, it's been really hectic. I am working my way through college right now and will be finishing the first two years at the end of this semester. I am so ready for that! I still have two and a half more years to get through the Radiologic Technology Program. Hopefully, this summer I will complete the eight hours of observation needed to enter the RDT program. Also, I will become a youth leader in the youth group after my 20th birthday. I am excited about that, too! William is finished with highschool now and is currently doing temporary work at Wal-Mart. He's very happy to have his own job and make his own money. :) He has plans to attend Roane State this summer and enroll in a music program somewhere. Will is still leading worship at our youth group and is doing an awesome job with that. Andrew is very active with the youth group. He and I have been working in the cafe in the youth room a lot. He LOVES to make coffee now! He will be finishing highschool in two years and is dreaming of going to an art college. He really wants to go to the Savannah College of Art and Design and major in clothing design. Mom and Dad are doing well. Mom is still working at Dr. Longobardo's office and Daddy is two classes away from finishing his masters in HR Management. All in all, God has truly blessed our family. We are holding on to His promises of prosperity and anticipating the fulfillment of that promise.

Pastor JJ explaining the egg game.
Each team had to blow into either side
of the tube which contained 3 raw eggs.
Whoever got egg blown on them lost.

Megan got egg in her mouth. (She lost.)

Katie and Tommy blowing into
their tube. I think Katie lost after this.

Fall Is Here!!!

I love fall. It's finally here! The weather is so nice. There's a chill in the air that just makes me want hot chocolate and have a bonfire with all of my friends and family. Don't you just love what this time of year is all about? Family, home, hospitality, warmth, GOOD FOOD. I hope that you all have a wonderful time this fall.

Piano

I have been taking piano lessons for a year now and I've come a long way. I started taking lesson just on a whim and now it seems that I have a real future in it. My teacher, Mrs. Vivian Walker, says that I have a real skill for music theory. In my last book I didn't even get anything wrong. I always thought that music was nothing I had any skill with. It turns out I was wrong. That just goes to show that you shouldn't count yourself out unless you try.

For a long time all I had to practice on was a child's play piano.
But then our friends, the Cavenders, gifted us a beautiful, antique upright piano.
I'm very thankful for our friends and for our blessings.

Fall

We are moving into my favorite time of year! It is so exciting to me when I see the leaves change and when I feel a chill in the air. I wanted to just take a look back at the pictures we have taken this spring and summer.....Enjoy!

Will, finally held still long enough for me to take a picture.

Andrew took this picture of himself. Cool!
